Monsoon is here ….ya for once the monsoon is on time, I am rather late in reporting it… what is there to report… see it around Anyway that was not the reason I thought of this post. Nowhere that I know of is the monsoon awaited with the anticipation mumbaikars do. Throughout the country there are millions who are looking forward to it, though it brings power cuts,, not being able to move around easily etc. But I saw in Mumbai was completely different. Here is the city gets to battle the rain… almost as if it is not welcome but has become an annual event. The government start pointing fingers at each other knowing fully well there is nothing they can do to prevent the going to happen, even though they face the same thing year on year. There are people selling umbrellas while getting completely wet. Makes me wonder do people actually forget about the rains until the monsoon hits them. They rather buy a new one than store one from the previous year or are just too lazy to search. Wha...
